Welcome to Pet Grief Coaching UK
Compassionate coaching to help you navigate the loss of a beloved pet.
Grieving a pet? You don't have to go through it alone.
Gentle support for anyone grieving the loss of a beloved pet.
Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking. They are family, companions, and part of the rhythm of everyday life. When they’re gone, the space they leave can feel deep and painful.
Grief like this doesn’t always make sense to other people. You might feel sadness, guilt, or a sense of something missing that’s hard to explain. It can come in waves, or sit quietly in the background of everything you do.
You don’t have to minimise it or explain why it hurts. You can simply be heard and supported.

How pet grief coaching can help
Pet grief coaching offers a calm, confidential space where you can talk about your pet and the loss you are experiencing.
You don’t need to have the right words or make sense of it all. You can speak freely about your memories, your emotions, and what this loss means to you.
Through gentle conversation and compassionate listening, you can begin to process your grief, honour the bond you shared, and find ways to carry that love forward in your own time. This might include exploring ways to remember your pet, whether that’s through personal rituals, creative expression, or something that feels meaningful to you.
This isn’t about fixing grief or rushing the process. It’s about having someone beside you while you navigate it, with understanding, care and respect.

Leon's story
This work began with the loss of our Dalmatian, Leon, in 2024.
Leon wasn’t just part of our lives; he was an all-consuming, big bundle of joy who lit up every moment you were with him. He loved to give you a kiss, a full face lick if he could get away with it. It wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but even if he didn’t manage it, he won people over. Everyone loved him.
When he died, the absence was immediate.
The house felt different. I felt empty. The grief wasn’t something I could neatly explain or move past, it stayed. In waves, in memories, in unexpected moments, and for much longer than I could ever have imagined.
What I found hardest was how invisible that grief can feel.
To some, it’s “just a dog.” When you have truly loved an animal, you know that loss runs much deeper. There is no such thing as “just a dog.” That experience is what led me here.
Leon’s memory guides everything I offer, a space where you don’t have to justify your grief, where your pet can be spoken about freely, and where you can be heard, understood, and supported as you find your way through. If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone.
ABOUT
Meet Charlie
Losing a beloved pet can be one of the most painful experiences we face. It deserves to be understood, not minimised.
As an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited coach, with a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching and CMA Certification in Pet Loss Grief Coaching, I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your grief without judgement.
My role isn't to tell you how you should grieve or to make your sadness disappear. It's to help you make sense of what you're experiencing, honour the bond you shared with your pet, and find a way forward that feels right for you.
Above all, I genuinely care. Every relationship with a pet is unique, and so is every grief journey. Whatever you're feeling, you'll be met with understanding, empathy and respect.
You don't have to go through it alone.

Memorial Wall
A place to remember them
Grief doesn’t end when the moment passes. The love you have for your pet is still there, and it deserves a place to be seen.
The memorial wall is a space to honour and remember the animals who have meant so much to us. You’re welcome to add your own pet, in your own way and in your own time. Every story shared here matters. Sometimes it can help to write a few words about them.
If you would like your pet to be remembered here, you’re very welcome to email a photo and a few words (just a sentence is enough) to charlieflannagancoach@gmail.com.
I will add each one with care.
